It is my pleasure and proud moment to announce our first Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) Convention on April 13th and 14th at Royal Albert’s Palace in New Jersey. We have attained this milestone within 1 year of MATA inception. Since the organization represents both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the response from the Telugu people is incredible. MATA has proudly established 22 chapters in various cities across the USA within the span of 10 months.
We are now ready to commemorate our one-year journey without deviating from our instituting principles of Seva, Samskrithi, and Samanathavam. I am deeply honored and privileged to serve all the Telugu people who are living in Mana America regardless of their region, religion, and community.
I can confidently say that MATA is committed to its core principles and will provide equal opportunity for all.Our organization’s primary focus is on Seva and less on conventions.
Each one of us in our organization has a shared responsibility to get involved any way they can to help shape our community to be better, relay our rich traditions to the next generation, and push each other to grow as individuals and as a community.
As promised, we are conducting a low budgeted convention. It will be held for 1.5 days, and we will use the proceeds of this event on various Community Service activities.
I request every one of you to come together to help preserve and enrich the Telugu culture, offer a helping hand to those who need one, and carry the Telugu flagship to the next level. Please join and support us.
Your Sincerely,
